The exposure of another part of the site which is adjacent to Binyanai Ha-Uma was begun. This part is next to other areas that were previously excavated and it includes architectural remains from the Second Temple period and the time when the Tenth Legion was garrisoned in Jerusalem after the destruction of the Temple. Among the noteworthy remains uncovered so far are a vault, a number of potter’s kilns and potters’ rooms.
