The Israeli committee to UNESCO in the Ministry of Education represents governmental, public and non-governmental bodies in the areas of education, science, culture, humanities, social sciences and world heritage, and advises the government in determining policy vis-à-vis UNESCO headquarters and its activity in Israel.
ICCROM is engaged in training personnel and in the development of resources in the preservation of monuments, buildings and sites.
This selection will make it possible for Israel to benefit from cooperation in the field of conservation and to promote the development of projects such as the International Conservation Center in Old Akko (a UNESCO world heritage site).
