The Dead Sea Scrolls represent the oldest written record of the Old Testament. Written in the Land of Israel between 250 BC and 68 AD and rediscovered in 1947 near the Dead Sea.
This text includes psalm 126, identical to the canonical psalm. The psalm is one of 15 psalms headlined as "Song of Ascents", describing the yearning for redemption and return to Zion.

The Dead Sea Scrolls represent the oldest written record of the Old Testament. Written in the Land of Israel between 250 BC and 68 AD and rediscovered in 1947 near the Dead Sea.
This fragment of the Psalms scroll is part of one of the longer texts of the Dead Sea Scrolls. The scroll contains twenty eight incomplete columns of text, five of which are represented here including the text of psalms 133, 137, 138, 141, 144 and two non-canonical psalms. Psalm 133 opens with the famous phrase:
“Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity”.
