Come see the Excavation during the Sukkot Holiday and Hear the Story Directly from the Archaeologists who are Involved in It!

On September 29–30, between 10:00–14:00, we will hold a free happening for families in the Ben Shemen Forest, based on the Tomb of the Maccabees. You’ll be able to explore the archaeological excavation being carried out at the site, participate in an experiential restoration of ancient coins, make a mosaic, etc. The event is taking place at the initiative of the Israel Antiquities Authority, in cooperation with the Jewish National Fund and the Hevel Modi‘in Local Council.
