Description: The Ostracon dated to the end of the 4th century BCE. Tranlation: 1. ZBD'DH, by the hands of 2. Tanhum; to year 12 [or 13 (?) 3. loads of straw: 4 4. which are not 5. prepared/ ready (?) This Ostracon belongs to a group of dockets indicating taxes paid to the Persian or Macedonian authorities. ZBD'DH- An Idumean personal name. Tanhum- An Hebrew personal name.
