Description: The central part of a bowl with a shallow splayed ring-shaped base made of red clay with white grits. The bowl is coated on the inside with white sleep painted in chequered pattern with a light greenish-yellow glaze. The bowl is dated to the Mamluk period and bellongs to the ceramic repertoire of the period. The bowl was probably broken and its central rim was polished for re-use.
