Translation: Apollonius
Personal names inscribed on sherds of storage jars were usually
signify ownership of the jars. They might have contained a date and
the quantity of the agricultural product.
Apollonius- a Greek name, also used by Jews. Another ostracon bear
the same name, and probably belongs to the same person and written by
the same scribe.
The ostracon dated from the 4th to the 2nd centuries BCE.
